Located in a serene and remote area, Los Chocoyos Merida offers a peaceful retreat. the rooms are simple but clean, with comfy beds and mosquito nets for a good night's sleep. the hotel is right on the beach, providing stunning views of the lake. the outdoor area is perfect for relaxing, and you can even take kayaks onto the lake for breathtaking scenery.

We had a wonderful stay at a lovely lakeside retreat. The sunset view was very nice, especially with the nice sight of fireflies. The local family running the place were very hospitable and made our experience more fun. We appreciated being close to the water and having access to a kitchen and fridge. Despite being a rural location, it was peaceful and offered a true sense of community living. Although there were a few minor inconveniences like the noise of roosters and dogs at night, it didn't detract from our overall experience. We highly recommend this hotel for a nice and affordable stay.

had an amazing time at this lakeside hostel! staff were friendly and helpful, with great recommendations for activities. loved renting kayaks and exploring the istian river. the sunset views were breathtaking, and the atmosphere was so relaxed and peaceful. exceeded all expectations and made for a perfect stay in merida.
Wifi was spotty.
